Good Practice E-commerce document was elaborated by e-commerce specialists working within E-commerce Working Committee at IAB Polska. It was made for people who purchase on the Internet and to increase the knowledge about shopping online amongst buyers and sellers.
One of the first signatory of the document was FireFly Grup, a group linked with the Internet field from the very beginning of its existence. The origin of this marketing communication, entertainment and technology platform as it is today, goes back to the origins of the agency of integrated and interactive communication, FireFly Creation. Its everyday work is to create Internet strategy and creation for clients, such as Nadchodzi4 announcing the launch of fourth mobile operator, Play, on Polish market or Burn in Heads, community marketing project for Burn brand.
‘Thanks to many years of interactive activity – FireFly Creation is one of the first companies united at IAB – we understand the importance of sticking to the good practice in the Internet area”, explains Jacek Balicki, co-founder and managing partner of FireFly Group. ‘Decalogue of Internet salesperson is very close to us because since almost a year we have been active in e-commerce field either. The regulations, we helped to elaborate, are put into practice in our two Internet stores: Męskie Zabawki and LOL Color'.
FireFly Group is still developing its competence in e-commerce, promoting, by the way, online shopping. ‘Internet shopping is the future of trade. Such form of sales that breaks territorial boundaries is becoming more and more popular and is covering more and more trade branches. So it is our task to persuade the consumer that there is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to buying on the Internet and show them the advantages of it', adds Jacek Balicki.
